J.Shea #9 is back at it again…….featuring the Thrice Show at Art From Scrap on Aug.8,6-10 p.m. This time around he has some help from Larry Mills,and Tanner Goldbeck to ensure this is a show you will not want to miss !!!!!!

Boba Fett and a Storm Trooper stayed with us here at the Presidio the last couple of nights! They seemed to enjoy themselves while cruising farmers market and taking in a little R&R on our sundeck.

our lovely friend camilla bourbon makes these amazing scarf/necklaces! i just can’t get over the concept of an ikat inspired pattern on these beautifully knitted ropes…genius!

her hand painted jewelry and bags make me want to dive into a sea of peacock feathers and gemstones, with their rich and oh so feminine colors…

our dear friend rebekah miles makes beautiful book covers, plates, paintings, and quilts. we were lucky enough to score one of her newest creations! it even has wonky edges…isn’t it rad?

hey ladies! get ready to get your craft on again…….this year is our 3rd annual jill of all trades scheduled for saturday, september 26th. we are now accepting vendor applications! deadline to apply is september 10th.

Yesterday we had our friend Larry Mills shoot our new sister motel the Agave Inn.We thought we would share some of these beautiful shots with you.Thanks again Larry -we love ya and could not be more happy with the results.

Santa Barbara has a new mobile restaurant called The Burger Bus (click for daily locations and scrumptious menu).The retired retro-fitted school bus uses  all local food suppliers and growers and in our opinion is the tastiest treat in town !!!!!!!

Time to break out those sparklers and head to the beach !!! Santa Barbara will be hosting its annual firework display starting at 9 p.m. (Boom,Bang,pop-ooooo-haaaaaaaa!!!!)
